I love yoga! I take class three to four times a week and it's totally changed my body! However, there are a lot of subtleties to it... I suggest starting out with a real live teacher, if you've never done it before. After you're sure you've really got the poses down correctly, then you can easily practice at home with a DVD.
Hi Leslie, Thanks for stopping by. In my younger years I dabbled in yoga. I took classes for several months. It's been years but I am comfortable doing the basics on my own. I'm not so comfortable doing it in front of others. Not a pretty sight if you know what I mean. I'd love to get to the point where I am comfortable in front of others and get back in the teacher/class setting for the more advanced poses.
